Valentine Wish

Hold me in your arms
just rock me to the rhythm
of the sea outside the window
let me taste the salt
across your knuckles
as you hold me, keep me close.
Hold me in your arms
just let me feel your heart
against my back a sweet percussion
as I turn my head to nuzzle
at the deep warm scent
that folds me into helpless
in your arms, as you hold me.
